Dr. Criss is originally from Chadron, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Wyoming. He attended the University of Nebraska College of Dentisty graduating in 1996. He has practiced dentistry in Rapid City since that time. He enjoys the creative and artistic side of dentistry as well as the technical challenges it presents. Dr. Criss believes in staying on the "cutting edge" of dentistry and attends several continuing education classes each year. Most importantly he enjoys building personal and lasting relationships with his patients.

Dr. Criss is a member of the American Dental Association and the Black Hills District Dental Society. He is a financial supporter of Rapid City Young Life, Bethany Christian Services and the Boys Club.

Dr. Criss is married to Teri and they have three children: Lydia, Grady and Abigail. In his spare time he enjoys playing the piano, fly-fishing, reading and camping.

Jennie Wilson, Front Desk

Jennie has been part of Dr. Criss' team since 2010.

She has enjoyed getting to know the patient's and loves the family environment.

She enjoys hockey (is at every Rush game), reading, watching movies and spending time with family.

Marcy Derksen, Office Manager

Marcy has been part of Dr. Criss' team since 2002.

She enjoys the everyday interaction with the patient's and love the family atmosphere that the office offers to everyone that enters the door.

She is married to Phil and has one son, Jesse, who resides in Minneapolis.

She enjoys traveling, reading, teaching Sunday School and spending time with family.

Brooke VonEye, Certified Dental Assistant

Brooke has been part of Dr. Criss' team since 2004.

She loves visiting with patients and making them feel comfortable during their dental visits.

She and her husband, Tim, have two children, Ellie and Evan.

She enjoys spending her spare time camping, cooking and being with friends and family.

Lynn Penticoff, Certified Dental Assistant

Lynn has been part of Dr. Criss' team since 2003.

She finds dentistry very rewarding and enjoys interacting and working with the patient's.

She enjoys gardening, cooking and reading.

Stephanie Sundby, Registered Dental Hygienist

Stephanie has been part of Dr. Criss' team since 2006.

She started working on her dental degree while in the United States Army full time in Massachusetts. She has practiced dental Hygiene in Rapid City since graduating from the University of SD in 1995.

She enjoys the relationships she has developed with her patients while helping them with their dental hygiene needs.

In her time away from the dental office, she helps run her husband's photography studio and spends time with their two children, Evan and Emmie. She enjoys playing Bunko and reading.

Amber Brandner, Registered Dental Hygienist

Amber has been part of Dr. Criss' team since 2006.

She received her degree from the University of SD in 1995. She moved to Rapid City in 2002.

Counseling and motivating patients to achieve optimal oral health is one of her passions. She is very thankful for her career path and feels that Dental Mission trips are a great way to give back. She hopes to help out with another mission trip soon.

She enjoys spending time with her husband Chris and their two children, Brooks and Hannah. One of their favorite things to do as a family is camping in the beautiful Black Hills, she also enjoys scrapbooking, paper crafting and reading.

Kelly Bohnenkamp, Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelly has been part of Dr. Criss' team since 2003.

She is originally from Faulkton, SD and graduated from the University of SD in 1996. Kelly and her family moved back to Rapid City from Kansas in 2003.

Her passion is making people smile and loves working with families.

She keeps busy with her husband John and their three children, Jake, Jenna and Jayda. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, gardening and scrapbooking.
